DA 62

The Diamond DA62 is a twin-engine light aircraft that seats five to seven passengers. It was first announced in March 2012 by Diamond Aircraft Industries. The DA62 was initially designated as the DA52. The first prototype flew in April 2012, and the production aircraft was redesignated as the DA62 in June 2014. The aircraft entered service in October 2015 and remains in production. It was developed from the single-engine Diamond DA50, featuring two Austro AE330 Diesel engines that utilize Jet A fuel.

Diamond Aircraft Industries is recognized for its commitment to developing advanced, efficient aircraft. The company continues to produce the DA62, including the Multi-Purpose Platform (MPP) variant for special missions such as aerial surveillance.
