The Beechcraft D35 is a model of the iconic Bonanza, a single-engine, V-tail light aircraft first introduced in 1947 by Beechcraft. Known for its distinct V-tail design and performance capabilities, the Bonanza line has seen continuous production, making it one of the longest-running aircraft series in history. The D35 specifically originated in 1952, featuring a new exterior paint scheme compared to earlier models. During its production run, 298 units of the D35 were manufactured.
Maintenance of the D35 requires various access solutions to reach all critical zones. Access equipment used for this aircraft includes the Reach Deck Platform, Modular Stepover Platforms, Super Trestle Scaffold, Ultraraise, Super Service Stand, Easyraise, Bridge Deck, and Cantilever Platform. These access stands and platforms provide necessary height and reach for detailed and methodical inspection across all sections of the aircraft.
These specialized access solutions address maintenance needs across major areas. For the Nose Section, they facilitate work on the radome, antenna, nose avionics, and windshield. For the Forward Fuselage, access is provided for the main entry door, cargo areas, and forward wheel well. The equipment supports comprehensive inspection of the Landing Gear, particularly the Nose and Main Landing Gear. Middle Fuselage work, including the wing box and cabin interior, is simplified. Furthermore, the equipment ensures proper access to the Aft Fuselage and Tail Section, enabling maintenance on the vertical and horizontal stabilisers. Other items, such as the Aviation Chock and Cone Trolley, Super Maintenance Platform, Branach Fibreglass Platform, A Frame Aviation Platform, and Platform Ladder Warthog, are also used.
