The Model D aircraft, manufactured by Auster Aircraft, represents a notable entry in the history of British aviation. Auster Aircraft Limited began as Taylorcraft Aeroplanes (England) Limited in 1938. The company produced light aircraft, becoming particularly known for its high-wing designs, which included the Taylorcraft Auster series that saw extensive use by military forces such as the Royal Air Force starting in 1942. The company operated until 1960 and merged with Beagle Aircraft in June 1961, with the Auster name retiring shortly after in 1962.

Bridge Decks and Cantilever Platforms are used for spanning obstacles and accessing hard-to-reach areas of the Wing Box and overall General Access. Aviation Chock and Cone Trolleys provide foundational support for securing the aircraft during maintenance operations.
