CT4/B

The CT4/B is a variant of the CT/4 Airtrainer, a foundational two-seat military and civilian primary trainer aircraft. The CT/4 prototype first flew in 1972, developed from the Victa Aircruiser design. Production was initiated in the early 1970s, making it a pivotal trainer for air forces, including the Royal Australian Air Force. A total of 154 units were built through 2008.

Pacific Aerospace traces its history through New Zealand aerospace organizations. Its forebears began producing aircraft parts in the 1960s, with full manufacturing starting in the late 1960s. Pacific Aerospace Corporation was formally established in the 1980s to continue aircraft production. Today, specialized access platforms are available for essential maintenance across the aircraft, including the wing box area for fuel tank inspections, engine pylon access for turbine work, and stable stands for detailed tasks on the forward fuselage and tail section. These solutions ensure methodical and safe access to all critical zones.
