The CT/4E is a high-performance jet trainer aircraft, part of the CT/4 Airtrainer series. The CT/4 lineage began development under AESL (Aero Engine Services Ltd.), which later became New Zealand Aerospace Industries Ltd. The prototype first flew on February 23, 1972. Production continued through 2008, with models like the CT/4E being produced for users such as the Royal Thai Air Force and DSTA in Singapore in the early 2000s. Pacific Aerospace continues the legacy of this design.
