CRJ900

The CRJ900 is a high-performing regional jet developed by Bombardier, a Canadian multinational with foundational roots dating back to Joseph-Armand Bombardier’s snowmobile designs in the 1930s. Bombardier entered the aerospace industry in 1986 by acquiring Canadair, using the Challenger business jet design to launch the successful Canadair Regional Jet (CRJ) program. The CRJ900, a longer variant designed for the 90-seat regional market, represents a vital evolution of this lineage. Its maiden flight was on February 21, 2001, with the first delivery occurring in April 2003.

A range of platforms and access solutions are available to support methodical maintenance across the aircraft. These specialized stands and platforms ensure access for all tasks in the nose section, including the radome and windshield. Access solutions also provide coverage for the forward fuselage, facilitating work on entry doors and the forward wheel well.

For the landing gear (NLG and MLG), dedicated access platforms support detailed inspections. Comprehensive systems also address the middle fuselage for fuel tanks and the wing box area. At the wing and engine pylon, access is provided for the engine inlet, exhaust, and internal components. Specialized solutions accommodate work on the AFT fuselage, rear avionics, and APU compartments, extending to the entire tail section (empennage), including the vertical and horizontal stabilizers.
