CRJ440

The CRJ440 Regional Jet is part of the Bombardier CRJ200 family, designated CL-600-2B19. This regional jet is an improved development of the CRJ 100 series. The CRJ series itself began manufacturing in 1991, evolving from the Bombardier Challenger 600 series business jet. The CRJ440 entered active service around 1995, building on the commercial success of the CRJ line, which was foundational to regional aviation globally. While production of the overall CRJ series concluded in 2020, the aircraft remains in active service.

Bombardier, the manufacturer, has a history rooted in transportation, with Canadair becoming part of the group, cementing its role in the aerospace sector.

A range of height access solutions are used for methodical maintenance of the CRJ440. These include the Reach Deck Platform, Modular Stepover Platforms, Super Trestle Scaffold, Ultraraise, and Super Service Stand. These platforms and stands enable technicians to access crucial areas such as the Nose Section (radome, antenna, avionics, windshield, and cockpit), Forward Fuselage (Main Entry Door, cargo, and wheel well access), and the Landing Gear. They also facilitate detailed work on the Wing and Engine Pylon, the AFT Fuselage, and the Tail Section, ensuring all components, from the engines to the APU, receive comprehensive inspection.
