CJ-6

The CJ-6 is a Chinese-designed propeller-driven primary trainer aircraft, developed by Nanchang Aircraft Manufacturing. Its history is foundational to Chinese aviation, with production beginning in 1959. Designed as a successor to the imported Yak-18, the CJ-6 was reverse-engineered to fit domestic components, demonstrating Chinese self-reliance in aerospace. Over 2,000 units were built for military service and are widely used today by private pilots globally, often appearing at airshows and adapted for utility roles like crop dusting.

Access solutions, including elevated platforms and stands, are indispensable for maintaining this aircraft. Stepover platforms and trestle scaffold are suited for servicing the wing box area, particularly for fuel tank and oil maintenance. For detailed work on the landing gear (both nose and main), specialized stands provide necessary elevation and stability.
