The Citation CJ4, designated Model 525C, is a light business jet developed by Cessna, representing a successful stretch within the CitationJet family. Launched in 2006, the CJ4 first flew on May 5, 2008, with customer deliveries beginning in 2010. This aircraft is powered by Williams FJ44-4A turbofans and incorporates a wing design derived from the Citation Sovereign, offering an extended range.
Cessna is a foundational American aircraft manufacturer with a history spanning over nine decades. Clyde Cessna established the company in Wichita, Kansas, known as the “Air Capital of the World,” and built it into a premier producer of general aviation and business aircraft. Cessna became synonymous with reliable, high-volume aircraft production. The Citation series, first introduced in the 1970s, established the company’s strong position in the business jet market, a legacy the CJ4 continues today.
A range of platforms and access solutions are utilized around this aircraft. These include Reach Deck Platform, Modular Stepover Platforms, Super Trestle Scaffold, Ultraraise, Super Service Stand, Easyraise, Bridge Deck, Cantilever Platform, Aviation Chock and Cone Trolley, Super Maintenance Platform, Branach Fibreglass Platform, A Frame Aviation Platform, and Platform Ladder Warthog. These items provide necessary access for detailed maintenance.
These access solutions can address maintenance needs across the aircraft. They are ideal for access to the Nose Section (Radome, Antenna, Nose Avionics), Forward Fuselage (Main Entry Door, Cargo/Baggage, Cabin Access), and the Landing Gear (Nose and Main). For the Middle Fuselage and Wing Box Area, they support access to the Wing Box, Fuel Tanks, and Oil Maintenance points. In the Wing & Engine Pylon section, these platforms are used for work on the Pylon, Engine components, Hydraulics, and Undercowl. For the AFT Fuselage and Tail Section, access solutions are crucial for maintaining the AFT Bulkhead, Rear Avionics, and components in the Empennage (Vertical and Horizontal Stabilisers, Rudder).
