CH-53K

The CH-53K King Stallion is a heavy-lift helicopter developed by Sikorsky, a subsidiary of Lockheed Martin. It represents an unparalleled capability upgrade from the Sikorsky CH-53E Super Stallion. The CH-53K first flew on October 27, 2015, and achieved Initial Operational Capability (IOC) on April 22, 2022, primarily serving the United States Marine Corps.

Sikorsky Aircraft was established by Russian-American aviation pioneer Igor Sikorsky in 1923. The company, headquartered in Stratford, Connecticut, was among the foundational companies to manufacture helicopters for military and civilian use, having been a subsidiary of various corporations before being acquired by Lockheed Martin in 2015.

A range of platforms and access solutions support methodical maintenance around the CH-53K. These access solutions, including Reach Deck Platforms, Modular Stepover Platforms, Super Trestle Scaffolds, and Super Service Stands, are designed to provide detailed access to critical aircraft sections. This includes the Nose Section (Windshield & Cockpit, Avionics), the Wing & Engine Pylon (Engine components, Hydraulics, Fuel Tanks), and the Tail Section (Vertical and Horizontal Stabilizers). Specialized equipment supports servicing all landing gear elements and general access across the fuselage and cabin areas.
