Cessna Turbo Skyhawk JT-A

The Cessna Turbo Skyhawk JT-A is a specialized variant of the foundational Cessna 172 Skyhawk, the most produced aircraft in history. Introduced in 2014, the JT-A version modernizes the classic design by incorporating a 155 hp Continental CD-155 diesel engine. This change provides increased fuel efficiency and performance at higher altitudes, making it an excellent option for pilot training and personal transport.

Cessna, the manufacturer, has a long and leading history in American aviation, tracing its roots back to Clyde Cessna’s early aircraft designs in the 1910s. The company was formally established in Wichita, Kansas, in 1927. Cessna became foundational in general aviation by producing reliable and easy-to-fly aircraft, such as the 172 Skyhawk, which first flew in 1955. The manufacturer’s legacy is defined by delivering dependable aircraft that serve both private and commercial markets globally.

Maintenance access for this aircraft is supported by a variety of platforms and access solutions. These include Reach Deck Platform and Modular Stepover Platforms, which offer versatile height access. Super Trestle Scaffold and Ultraraise provide sturdy elevated work areas for general servicing.
