The CABRI G2 is a light helicopter manufactured by Hélicoptères Guimbal. Designed by Bruno Guimbal, the French-made aircraft is known as a leading training rotorcraft and for its high safety standards, being one of the few helicopters fully compliant with the FAA’s crash-resistant fuel system requirements.
Hélicoptères Guimbal was founded to produce the Cabri G2, which had its first flight on March 31, 2005, and entered commercial service in 2008. The manufacturer has since produced over 300 units, focusing on reliability and innovative design elements such as its three-blade main rotor system and composite fuselage. Portable platforms such as the Reach Deck Platform, Modular Stepover Platforms, Ultraraise, and Easyraise are vital for vertical access needs related to the Tail Section (Vertical Stabiliser, Horizontal Stabiliser, Rudder) and the Wing & Engine Pylon sections (Engine, Hydraulics, Fuel Tanks/Pumps).
Larger systems like the Super Trestle Scaffold and Super Service Stand provide extensive access for work on the Forward Fuselage (Cabin Access, Environmental Control System) and Middle Fuselage area (Cabin Interior, Oil Maintenance). The Platform Ladder Warthog and A Frame Aviation Platform support routine maintenance and inspections around the Nose Section and Landing Gear.
