CA21

The CA21 is a light utility aircraft manufactured by Skyfox Aviation, also known as CALAIR. The first production model, built to CAO 101.55 standards, completed its initial flight on June 22, 1990. Its design utilizes a sturdy, all-welded steel tube fuselage. The wings incorporate two aluminum tube spars, plywood ribs, and fiberglass drooping tips, with the aircraft primarily fabric covered, excluding a fiberglass engine cowling.

A variety of platforms and access solutions are utilized for maintenance around the CA21. These include the Reach Deck Platform, Modular Stepover Platforms, Super Trestle Scaffold, Ultraraise, Super Service Stand, Easyraise, Bridge Deck, Cantilever Platform, Aviation Chock and Cone Trolley, Super Maintenance Platform, Branach Fibreglass Platform, A Frame Aviation Platform, and Platform Ladder Warthog.

These access solutions are indispensable for thorough and methodical maintenance across the entire aircraft. They facilitate access to critical areas such as the Nose Section (including the radome and avionics), the Forward and AFT Fuselage (for cabin, cargo, and bulkheads), and the Landing Gear (NLG and MLG). Furthermore, they provide safe and efficient access to the Middle Fuselage/Wing Box Area (for fuel tanks and systems), the Wing & Engine Pylon (essential for all engine component and fuel system checks), and the Tail Section (covering the vertical stabilizer, horizontal stabilizer, and rudder). These platforms ensure technicians can perform detailed work on every major aircraft section.
