CA-25

The CA-25 Winjeel, a piston-engine trainer aircraft, was produced by Commonwealth Aircraft. Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation (CAC), established in 1936 in Australia, was foundational to the nation’s aviation industry, manufacturing aircraft under license and developing indigenous designs. CAC began delivering the CA-25 in September 1955 after the first aircraft flew in February of that year, with 62 units built in the CA-25 configuration. Initially, it served as the basic flying training aircraft for the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF), later transitioning to the Forward Air Control role until its retirement in 1994.

For the CA-25, a selection of platforms and access solutions can support maintenance across various aircraft zones. Reach Deck Platforms and Modular Stepover Platforms are effective for accessing the Wing & Engine Pylon section, specifically for work on the Engine body, Pylon, and Undercowl. Trestle stands and Cantilever Platforms provide adaptable access for the Nose Section components like the Windshield & Cockpit, while Ladder Platforms are suitable for General Access.

Super Service Stands and Ultraraise platforms can provide access to the Tail Section (Empennage) for maintenance on the Vertical and Horizontal Stabilizers. Bridge Decks and Easyraise stands offer access over sensitive components to service the Middle Fuselage and Wing Box Area, including Fuel Tanks and Oil Maintenance points. Aviation chocks and cone trolleys ensure safety during all landing gear maintenance, supporting work on both the Nose Landing Gear and Main Landing Gear.
