C-146A Wolfhound[5]

The C-146A Wolfhound is a foundational special operations transport aircraft. It provides flexible, responsive airlift for military teams operating from remote or semi-prepared airfields worldwide. The C-146 is a converted version of the German-built Dornier 328 regional airliner.

The aircraft’s history is tied to Fairchild-Dornier, which was a collaboration between the US-based Fairchild Aircraft and Germany’s Dornier GmbH. The Dornier 328, the basis for the C-146, first flew in December 1991. The C-146 modification program was initiated by USSOCOM, with aircraft delivered between 2011 and 2017.

Maintenance platforms and stands are indispensable for servicing this aircraft. Access solutions such as the Reach Deck Platform, Modular Stepover Platforms, Super Trestle Scaffold, and Ultraraise support detailed work across the entire airframe. These products facilitate maintenance on critical areas like the Nose Section (radome, antenna, avionics, cockpit), the Wing and Engine Pylons (engine inlet/exhaust, hydraulics, fuel tanks), and the Tail Section (Vertical and Horizontal Stabiliser, Rudder). Additional solutions, including Bridge Decks and Cantilever Platforms, provide thorough access for all fuselage sections and landing gear inspections.
