The 206B-1 model is a foundational component of this design lineage.

Commonwealth Aircraft, the manufacturer associated with this model, was the name of the company after Bell Helicopter purchased the remaining assets of the Bell-Agusta Aerospace Company (BAAC). BAAC was originally a joint venture established in 1998 between Bell Helicopter and Agusta, focusing on the production of various Bell models, including the 206 series, for military and civilian use.
