The AT-301 is a single-engine agricultural aircraft developed by AIR Tractor. The history of AIR Tractor begins with founder Leland Snow, who designed his first airplane, the S-1, in 1951. After subsequent designs, Snow began work on the AT-300 in 1972, aiming for an improved, modern agricultural plane. This design evolved into the AT-301, and the company, officially founded in 1978, has since become a prominent manufacturer of agricultural and firefighting aircraft.
A selection of platforms and access solutions are utilized for servicing this aircraft. These include the Reach Deck Platform, Modular Stepover Platforms, Super Trestle Scaffold, Ultraraise, Super Service Stand, Easyraise, Bridge Deck, Cantilever Platform, Aviation Chock and Cone Trolley, Super Maintenance Platform, Branach Fibreglass Platform, A Frame Aviation Platform, and Platform Ladder Warthog.
These tools provide access for maintaining multiple sections of the AT-301. For the Nose Section, access solutions are crucial for working on the radome, antenna, nose avionics, windshield, cockpit, and bulkhead. In the Wing & Engine Pylon area, the Cantilever Platform or Super Service Stand can facilitate work on the engine inlet and exhaust, fan, compressor, turbine, and fuel systems. Access is also needed for the middle fuselage area to inspect the wing box and fuel tanks, and for general access around the entire aircraft. The various platforms and stands provide foundational access for maintenance and inspection tasks across the aircraft.
