AS350 SD

The AS350 SD helicopter, manufactured by Airbus Helicopters, is part of the widely successful Écureuil/AStar family. The AS350 program’s first prototype, the AS350C, first flew on June 27, 1974, in Marignane, France. Production began in 1975, and this family of light utility helicopters has proven highly popular, with thousands of units built for various military and civil operators worldwide. Airbus Helicopters, formerly Eurocopter, continues to be a global leader in rotorcraft development and production.

Maintenance of the AS350 SD requires dedicated height access solutions for various critical areas. These access solutions, such as platform stands and scaffolding, support comprehensive maintenance across the aircraft. Access equipment can address needs related to the Nose Section (radome, avionics, cockpit windshields), the Forward Fuselage (cabin access, cargo doors, environmental controls), and the Landing Gear (both nose and main gear).

Furthermore, access platforms are vital for the Middle Fuselage and Wing Box Area (fuel tanks, interior components), the Wing and Engine Pylon sections (engine inlet, exhaust, and turbine components), and the AFT Fuselage (bulkheads and rear avionics). Specialized stands also facilitate work on the Tail Section, covering components like the vertical and horizontal stabilizers and the rudder.
