AS 355 N

The Airbus Helicopters AS 355 N, known historically as the Écureuil 2 (or Twin Squirrel), is a twin-engine light utility helicopter developed from the AS350 platform. Its manufacturing history traces back to Aérospatiale in France, with the AS355 N model emerging in 1993. It is now produced by Airbus Helicopters. Powered by two Turbomeca Arrius 1A turbine engines, this aircraft is renowned worldwide for reliability and safety, featuring a Full Authority Digital Engine Control (FADEC) system for easier piloting.

Landing Gear maintenance (NLG and MLG) benefits from the sturdy Super Service Stand and Ultraraise.

For the middle and forward fuselage areas—including the Cabin Access, Cargo/Baggage sections, and Fuel Tanks—the Reach Deck Platform and Bridge Deck offer extensive reach. Maintenance around the Wing & Engine Pylon, which involves the Engine (Inlet/Exhaust), Hydraulics, and Fuel Tanks/Pumps, is supported by the Cantilever Platform and Super Maintenance Platform. The Tail Section (Empennage) access, critical for the Vertical and Horizontal Stabilisers, and Rudder, is safely achieved using the A Frame Aviation Platform and various height-adjustable platforms. For general access (AF-BF), the complete suite of stands provides indispensable access.
