AM-3C

The AM-3C is a light utility aircraft produced by AERMACCHI SPA. Aermacchi, officially established in 1913 as Società Anonima Nieuport-Macchi, has a long history in Italian aviation, originally producing seaplanes and later transitioning to military trainers and light attack aircraft. The company became a foundational element of Italy’s aerospace industry, eventually merging into Leonardo S.p.A.

A range of platforms and access solutions support maintenance around this aircraft. For the Nose Section, platforms like the Reach Deck Platform, Modular Stepover Platforms, and Platform Ladder Warthog provide access for work on the Radome, Antenna, and Nose Avionics.

Access solutions, including the Easyraise and Super Service Stand, address the Forward Fuselage needs such as the Main Entry Door (MED), Cargo/Baggage areas, and Forward Wheel Well Access. The Aviation Chock and Cone Trolley secures the Landing Gear.

For the Middle Fuselage and Wing Box Area, the Bridge Deck and Cantilever Platform allow access for inspecting the Wing Box and internal systems. Engine maintenance, covering the Pylon, Inlet/Exhaust, and Turbine sections, is aided by the Super Maintenance Platform.

Detailed, methodical access for the AFT Fuselage and Tail Section, including the Vertical Stabiliser and Rudder, can be achieved using the Super Trestle Scaffold and Ultraraise. Fibreglass platforms offer electrically isolated access where needed.
