AB 206 B

The AB 206 B is a single-engine utility helicopter, part of the Bell 206 series which originated from a US Army Light Observation Helicopter program entry in the early 1960s. While Bell developed the original design, Leonardo (formerly AgustaWestland and before that, Agusta) produced variants of the helicopter under license, including the AB 206 B, contributing to its widespread global use. Leonardo, an Italian-headquartered aerospace and defense company, is a leading manufacturer in the industry, with a history spanning decades of aircraft production and development.

This foundational helicopter model requires a variety of access solutions for maintenance. Platforms and stands support detailed inspection and service across all major aircraft sections. Access products like the Reach Deck Platform, Modular Stepover Platforms, Super Trestle Scaffold, and Ultraraise are vital for reaching components in the Nose Section (including the Windshield and Cockpit), the Forward Fuselage, and critical Landing Gear areas.

For the Middle Fuselage and the Tail Section (Empennage)—including the vertical and horizontal stabilizers—specialized equipment like the Bridge Deck and Cantilever Platform ensure secure, high-level access. Tools such as the Super Service Stand and Super Maintenance Platform provide efficient access for engine maintenance and thorough inspections throughout the aircraft. Accessories like the Aviation Chock and Cone Trolley and Platform Ladder Warthog support overall operational efficiency.
