AA-5B

The manufacturing history of this design involves several iterations of the original company. American Aviation began the line, which was later acquired by Grumman American and then by Gulfstream American. The AA-5B was successfully produced through these transitions, delivering 1323 aircraft before Gulfstream ceased production of piston-engined aircraft in 1979. The design was revived in 1990 by American General Aviation Corporation and later by Tiger Aircraft under the designation AG-5B Tiger, demonstrating its lasting design appeal.
