A61

The A.61 Terrier, manufactured by Beagle Aircraft, has a history rooted in the British aviation company Auster. Beagle Aircraft was formed in 1960 and the A.61 Terrier 1 was a rebranding of the Auster 6B, a three-seat luxury version of the Auster 6A Tugmaster. Production focused on light utility and touring aircraft, with the A.61 serving private pilot owners and remaining in active service. Beagle Aircraft aimed to produce modern aircraft for the civilian market but faced financial difficulties, leading to its eventual restructuring.
