The Beechcraft A36 is a variant of the Bonanza family, specifically a stretched Model 33 introduced in 1968. In 1970, the A36 model was released with an improved deluxe interior, a new fuel system, and a higher takeoff weight, remaining in production for decades. Beechcraft, a foundational general aviation manufacturer, introduced its first aircraft, the Model 17 Staggerwing, in 1932. Along with the Bonanza line, the company established a legacy of durable airframes and innovation. The A36 model was updated to the G36 in 2006, incorporating a glass cockpit with the Garmin G1000 system.
