A23-24

The Beechcraft A23-24 Super III is part of the Musketeer series of aircraft manufactured by Beechcraft. Beechcraft, now a brand of Textron Aviation, is a storied American manufacturer known for its general aviation and military aircraft. The Model A23-24 Super III was certified in 1968 and was produced between 1966 and 1969. This fixed-gear variant represented an upgrade, incorporating a 200 hp Lycoming IO-360-A2B engine and a constant-speed propeller to achieve better climb performance and speed. A total of 363 units of the A23-24 aircraft were manufactured.

A range of platforms and access solutions are available for servicing this aircraft, including the Reach Deck Platform, Modular Stepover Platforms, Ultraraise, Super Service Stand, and Platform Ladder Warthog. These products provide access for maintenance needs across multiple aircraft sections.

For the Nose Section, these solutions enable access to the radome, antennas, nose avionics, windshield, cockpit, and bulkhead. Access to the Forward Fuselage is facilitated for the main entry door, cargo/baggage areas, lighting systems, cabin access, environmental control systems, and forward wheel well access. Maintenance on the Landing Gear, both nose and main, is covered. Middle Fuselage and Wing Box Area requirements, such as fuel tanks, oil maintenance, cabin interior, Wi-Fi, and emergency exits, are addressed. Access to the Wing and Engine Pylon areas is provided for pylon, anti-ice systems, engine components (inlet, exhaust, body, flap, fan, compressor, turbine, FADEC/EEC, hydraulics, fuel tanks/pumps, undercowl, and armpit). For the AFT Fuselage, platforms assist with the aft bulkhead, cargo, cabin doors, auxiliary fuel, environmental ducting, rear avionics, and APU compartments. Finally, the Tail Section (Empennage), including APU components (intake, generator, compressor, exhaust port), vertical stabiliser, horizontal stabiliser, and rudder, benefits from these versatile access methods.
