A150K

The A150K is a specific variant of the Cessna 150, a classic two-seat general aviation airplane designed for flight training and personal touring. The foundational Cessna 150 first flew in 1957, quickly becoming known for its tricycle landing gear and reliable performance powered by a 100 hp Continental O-200-A engine. The A150K model continued this lineage of all-metal construction, serving as an indispensable aircraft in global flight schools.

Cessna, the manufacturer, was founded by Clyde Cessna in Wichita, Kansas, with roots dating back to the 1920s. The company established itself as a leading producer of light aircraft, known for its commitment to high-wing designs. The long production run of the Model 150 series, culminating in its replacement by the Model 152 in 1977, cemented Cessna’s reputation in the aviation world before the brand became part of Textron Aviation.

A range of work platforms and stands address maintenance needs around this aircraft. For the Nose Section, solutions provide access for tasks such as windshield cleaning and nose avionics maintenance. The Landing Gear (NLG and MLG) requires robust platforms for thorough inspection and servicing. Access solutions also facilitate work on the Wing Box Area for fuel system tasks and general maintenance on the Wing for the engine inlet and exhaust. The AFT Fuselage and Tail Section also need elevated access for stabiliser and rudder checks, ensuring detailed and methodical inspections are completed across the entire airframe.
