A-1C-180

The A-1C-180 is part of the Aviat Husky line, a renowned utility aircraft. Manufactured by Aviat Aircraft Incorporated, the company’s origins trace back to the Call Aircraft Company founded in 1939. Christen Industries began designing the Husky in 1985, with the prototype flying in 1986. Aviat Aircraft Incorporated was established in 1995 following a purchase by Stuart Horn, and it continues to produce the Husky, Pitts, and Eagle aircraft today. The A-1C-180 version, certified in 2007, is powered by a 180-horsepower Lycoming O-360-A1P engine and has a maximum gross weight of 2,200 lbs.

Specialized height access solutions are vital for servicing this aircraft. Access platforms such as Reach Deck Platform, Modular Stepover Platforms, Super Trestle Scaffold, Ultraraise, Super Service Stand, Easyraise, Bridge Deck, Cantilever Platform, Super Maintenance Platform, Branach Fibreglass Platform, A Frame Aviation Platform, and Platform Ladder Warthog can address maintenance requirements across various sections.

These products facilitate work on critical areas like the Nose Section (Windshield & Cockpit), Forward Fuselage (Cabin Access, Environmental Control System), Landing Gear (Nose Landing Gear and Main Landing Gear), and the Middle Fuselage/Wing Box Area (Oil Maintenance, Fuel Tanks). They are also indispensable for reaching the Wing and Engine Pylon, particularly for maintenance on the Engine, Fan, Compressor, and Turbine components. Access solutions enable thorough checks of the AFT Fuselage, and are indispensable for maintenance on the Tail Section, including the Vertical Stabiliser and Horizontal Stabiliser.
