A-1B

The A-1B is a variant of the Aviat Husky, a tandem two-seat, high-wing light utility aircraft designed for STOL operations. Manufacturer Aviat Aircraft, Inc. traces its origins back to Christen Industries, which began design work on the Husky in 1985. The prototype flew in 1986, and initial certification followed in 1987. The A-1B specifically received its certification on January 28, 1998, and is powered by a Lycoming O-360-A1P engine providing 180 hp (134 kW).
