91C

The 91C is a model of the Saab 91 Safir, a three-seat trainer and touring aircraft. The manufacturer, Saab, is a Swedish aerospace and defense company founded in 1937 as Svenska Aeroplan Aktiebolaget. Saab initially focused on military aircraft production to protect Sweden’s neutrality during World War II. The Saab 91 Safir was one of the company’s first civil aviation successes, designed by Anders J. Andersson.

While the original Saab 91 first flew in 1945, production of the 91B and 91C models resumed in Sweden in 1955. The 91C was acquired by the Finnish Air Force starting in 1958, and later designated as the SK-50C when purchased by the Swedish Air Force in 1960 for use as trainers.

Maintenance for the 91C is supported by a variety of height access solutions. Platforms and stands provide detailed access to critical aircraft sections. For the Nose Section, including the Windshield and Cockpit, access products are essential. Access platforms also support work across the Forward Fuselage, including the Cabin Access points. Landing Gear (NLG and MLG) tasks require specialized solutions. For the Middle Fuselage and Wing Box Area, including Fuel Tanks and Cabin Interior, access products ensure methodical servicing. Finally, the Tail Section, particularly the Vertical Stabiliser and Horizontal Stabiliser, is supported by various access systems.
