7GCBC

The 7GCBC is an aerobatic variant of the Citabria series, introduced in 1965 by Champion Aircraft Corporation. This conventional gear aircraft, also known as the Citabria Explorer, is powered by a 150 horsepower Lycoming O-320-A2B engine and features slightly longer wings and flaps compared to the 7GCAA model. It is designed for both general aviation and recreational aerobatics.

American Champion Aircraft Corporation, founded in 1988, acquired the rights and type certificates for the Champ, Citabria, Scout, and Decathlon designs from Bellanca, which had previously taken over Champion Aircraft Corporation in 1970. Since its founding, American Champion has been manufacturing replacement parts and producing new aircraft, continuing the legacy of these foundational designs.

A range of access solutions support maintenance and inspection tasks across the 7GCBC. These include the Reach Deck Platform, Modular Stepover Platforms, Super Trestle Scaffold, Ultraraise, Super Service Stand, Easyraise, Bridge Deck, Cantilever Platform, Aviation Chock and Cone Trolley, Super Maintenance Platform, Branach Fibreglass Platform, A Frame Aviation Platform, and Platform Ladder Warthog. These products facilitate safe access to critical aircraft sections such as the Nose Section (radome, antenna, avionics), the Forward Fuselage (cabin access, doors, lighting systems), the Landing Gear, the Middle Fuselage and Wing Box Area (fuel tanks, oil maintenance), the Wing and Engine Pylon, the AFT Fuselage, and the Tail Section (stabilizers, rudder).
