7GCAA

The 7GCAA aircraft, introduced in 1965 by Champion Aircraft, is part of the respected Citabria line. Champion Aircraft specialized in utility and trainer aircraft, with the 7GCAA specifically featuring wood-spar wings and oleo-shock main gear upon its debut. It was powered by a 150 horsepower Lycoming O-320-A2B engine. Champion later transitioned to spring steel main gear legs in 1967. The company’s work established a foundational legacy in American light aviation.
