The Beechcraft 76, known as the Duchess, is a twin-engine light aircraft developed by Beechcraft, a foundational name in American general aviation manufacturing since 1932. The Duchess was introduced in the late 1970s as a trainer and personal transport aircraft. It featured four seats and counter-rotating propellers, designed to simplify handling and enhance safety for pilots transitioning to multi-engine aircraft. Beechcraft, originally founded by Walter Beech, has a long history of producing distinguished aircraft, including the iconic Bonanza and King Air series. The 76 model was manufactured until 1982, maintaining the company’s tradition of quality and performance in its class.
Access solutions are available for this aircraft, designed to support comprehensive maintenance across critical areas. These platforms and stands address inspection and repair requirements for the Nose Section components like avionics and the windshield, and the Forward Fuselage areas including cabin and cargo access. For the running gear, access solutions assist with both Nose Landing Gear and Main Landing Gear inspection.
Maintenance systems support the Middle Fuselage and Wing Box Area, vital for fuel tank checks and oil maintenance. The Wing and Engine Pylon, including engine components (inlet, fan, turbine, hydraulics), also benefit from these specialized access platforms. AFT Fuselage sections, such as rear avionics and APU compartments, and the entire Tail Section (empennage, stabilizers, rudder) are made accessible by the available equipment. The maintenance platforms deliver comprehensive access across the airframe.
