70

The Beechcraft Model 70 is a variant of the Queen Air line, introduced in 1968. It is essentially an A65 model utilizing the B80 wing, designed for utility, light transport, and as a commuter airliner. Only 42 numbers were built, with some remaining in service for a period after production ceased. Power for the Queen Air family often came from Lycoming IGSO-480 engines.

Beechcraft, founded in 1932 by Walter H. and Olive Ann Beech, has a long history of producing notable aircraft. The company became well-known for its private and business aircraft, including the iconic Model 17 Staggerwing and the Bonanza. Over the decades, Beechcraft transitioned ownership, eventually becoming part of Textron Aviation.

Access solutions are foundational for effective maintenance of the Beech 70, supporting detailed work across multiple sections. Platforms and access equipment, such as deck platforms, modular stepover platforms, scaffold systems, and maintenance stands, address essential needs for areas like the Nose Section (radome, avionics, cockpit), Forward Fuselage (cabin access, cargo, environmental control), and Landing Gear.

For the Middle Fuselage and Wing Box Area (fuel tanks, oil maintenance), specialized stands offer secure elevation. These solutions also provide access for working on the Wing and Engine Pylon, covering components like the engine, hydraulics, and fuel pumps. Finally, access to the Aft Fuselage (bulkhead, avionics, APU) and the Tail Section (vertical and horizontal stabilizers, rudder) is maintained through various portable and stationary elevated platforms, ensuring thorough inspection and repair.
