680

The Cessna Model 680, known as the Citation Sovereign, is a long-range, midsize business jet. It was developed by Cessna, an aircraft manufacturer founded in 1927 in Wichita, Kansas, by Clyde Vernon Cessna. The company became foundational in general and business aviation, producing highly successful aircraft lines like the Citation series of business jets, which began in the 1970s. The Citation Sovereign, designated Model 680, first flew in February 2002 and entered service in 2004, evolving from the Citation Excel. It remains a popular aircraft with hundreds of units built through 2021.

Maintenance across the 680 requires methodical height access solutions. A selection of platforms and stands supports detailed work on all critical areas. These access products aid technicians working on the Nose Section (including the Radome and Windshield & Cockpit), the Forward Fuselage (such as the Main Entry Door and Cargo/Baggage areas), and the Landing Gear (Nose and Main).

Specialized maintenance support extends to the Middle Fuselage / Wing Box Area and the Wing & Engine Pylon, covering components like the Engine, Hydraulics, and Fuel Tanks. Furthermore, access equipment is essential for servicing the AFT Fuselage (including the AFT Bulkhead and Rear Avionics) and the Tail Section (Empennage), ensuring thorough inspection of the Vertical and Horizontal Stabilisers.
