560XL

The 560XL, officially the Cessna Citation Excel, is a midsize corporate jet known for its blend of performance and cabin comfort. It features a spacious stand-up cabin and is powered by two Pratt & Whitney Canada PW545C turbofan engines. The aircraft was certified by the Federal Aviation Administration in 1998, immediately generating strong demand with over 200 orders at launch. Production of the Citation Excel continued until the introduction of the Citation XLS in 2004.

Cessna Aircraft Company, the manufacturer, has a foundational history in aviation dating back to the early 20th century. Clyde Cessna established the company in Wichita, Kansas, which went on to become one of the world’s largest manufacturers of general aviation aircraft. Cessna is now part of Textron Aviation Inc., continuing its legacy of designing and producing a wide range of business jets and single-engine planes.

A selection of access solutions is used for maintaining this aircraft. Reach Deck Platforms and Modular Stepover Platforms are key for various maintenance tasks, supporting access to the Wing & Engine Pylon section (including the engine, fan, and exhaust), and the Tail Section (Vertical and Horizontal Stabilisers). Super Trestle Scaffold and Easyraise stands are utilized for detailed inspection of the Nose Section (Radome, Windshield & Cockpit) and the Forward Fuselage. Cantilever Platforms and Bridge Decks offer flexible access for the Middle Fuselage and Wing Box Area, ensuring thorough coverage for tasks like fuel tank inspection and general cabin interior maintenance.
