The Cessna CitationJet (Model 525) is a private business jet certified in 1992, with the first delivery occurring in 1993. Developed as an improvement on the Citation I and II, this jet typically seats five passengers. The CitationJet completed its inaugural flight in 1991. Over 350 units were built before production concluded in 1999, as the manufacturer transitioned attention to the upgraded Citation CJ1 model.
