500

The Cessna 500, commonly known as the Citation, is a foundational twin-engine light corporate jet. Manufactured by Cessna, this aircraft marked the entry of the renowned manufacturer into the business jet market. Cessna, a company with an unparalleled history in general aviation, first flew the precursor, the FanJet 500, in September 1969. Production of the Model 500 began in 1972 and continued until 1976, establishing the Citation family as one of the most successful lines of executive jets worldwide.

Access solutions are indispensable for thorough maintenance of this aircraft. A variety of platforms and access solutions—including the Reach Deck Platform, Modular Stepover Platforms, Super Trestle Scaffold, Ultraraise, Super Service Stand, Easyraise, Bridge Deck, Cantilever Platform, Aviation Chock and Cone Trolley, Super Maintenance Platform, Branach Fibreglass Platform, A Frame Aviation Platform, and Platform Ladder Warthog—are utilized.

These specialized platforms provide excellent access for all maintenance needs across the aircraft. They are crucial for detailed inspections of the Nose Section, including the radome and avionics. They also facilitate essential work in the Forward Fuselage, such as cabin access and environmental control system inspection, and simplify maintenance for the Landing Gear components. Furthermore, these solutions ensure safe, stable access to the Middle Fuselage/Wing Box Area, the Wing & Engine Pylon for engine overhauls and anti-ice checks, the AFT Fuselage, and the Tail Section (Empennage) for stabilizer and rudder service.
