The Learjet 45 is a mid-size business jet that was the principal product of the Learjet Division from the 1990s until the introduction of the Model 75 variant. Learjet, now part of Bombardier Aerospace, is a renowned manufacturer of business aircraft. The Learjet 45 first flew in October 1995 and received FAA certification in 1997. Production of the Learjet 45 ended in 2007, with a total of 248 units built. The Model 45 and its variants were fundamental to Learjet’s market presence in the early 21st century.
