Derived from the Cessna 402, the Titan first flew on February 26, 1975, and was introduced into service in 1976. Production ran from 1976 to 1982, during which 396 units were built. It served various roles, including passenger transport (Titan Ambassador) and convertible passenger/cargo operations (Titan Courier). The aircraft is powered by two 375 hp turbocharged Continental Motors GTSIO-520 piston engines.
