35-C33A

The Beechcraft 35-C33A is a model in the Beechcraft Debonair/Bonanza family, known for its fixed tail design, differentiating it from the V-tail Bonanza variants. The C33A variant, produced in the mid-1960s, features larger rear windows and an increased gross weight. This aircraft is an enduring example of high-performance piston singles.

The manufacturer, Beechcraft, was founded in Wichita, Kansas, in 1932 by Walter H. Beech, Olive Ann Beech, and Ted A. Wells. They started operations in an idle Cessna factory, quickly establishing a reputation for manufacturing durable and dependable aircraft, beginning with the Model 17 Staggerwing. Beechcraft continued its legacy through decades of aviation history, evolving from the Beech Aircraft Company to a division of Textron Aviation today.

Maintaining the 35-C33A requires access solutions for numerous critical areas. The nose section needs access for the radome, antenna, and avionics. The forward fuselage demands safe entry for the main entry door, cargo/baggage areas, and lighting systems. Access platforms are necessary for landing gear (nose and main), as well as maintenance of the wing box, fuel tanks, and oil systems within the middle fuselage. Specific tooling is also utilized for the AFT fuselage components, including the bulkhead and auxiliary fuel area, and the tail section (empennage) for the vertical and horizontal stabilizers. Access platforms, step-over platforms, trestle scaffolding, and maintenance stands provide solutions for these detailed and methodical maintenance needs.
