337

The Cessna 337 Skymaster is an American twin-engine civil utility aircraft known for its distinctive push-pull engine configuration, with one engine in the nose and one in the rear of its pod-style fuselage. Twin booms extend back to the vertical stabilizers. This design prevents yaw toward a failed engine, handling differently from conventional twin-engine planes. The Model 337 Super Skymaster was introduced in February 1965. Cessna built 2993 Skymasters of all variants, including military O-2 versions, before production in America ended in 1982. Cessna, the manufacturer, has a long and influential history in general aviation.

A wide array of platforms and access solutions is used for thorough maintenance on the 337. These height access solutions—including the Reach Deck Platform, Modular Stepover Platforms, Super Trestle Scaffold, and Ultraraise—facilitate detailed inspection and service across all critical sections. Access is provided for the Nose Section (radome, antenna, nose avionics, windshield, cockpit, and bulkhead) and the Forward Fuselage (main entry door, cargo/baggage, and cabin access). Platforms also support work on the Landing Gear (Nose and Main) and the Middle Fuselage/Wing Box Area (fuel tanks, oil maintenance, and cabin interior). Furthermore, these access tools are indispensable for maintenance on the Wing and Engine Pylon, the AFT Fuselage, and the Tail Section.
