24-400

The 24-400, officially the PA-24-400 Comanche 400, was a high-performance single-engine aircraft developed by PIPER Aircraft. Produced only from 1964 to 1966, this model was notable for being powered by a 400 hp Lycoming IO-720 eight-cylinder engine, which was specially designed for the aircraft. Only 148 units of the Comanche 400 were built.
