212-EE

The 212-EE is a variant within the foundational C-212 Aviocar transport aircraft series. This high-wing, short take-off and landing (STOL) utility airplane is renowned for its versatility, performing critical missions such as air medical services and paratrooper transport since its introduction. The C-212 line has been in production from 1971 to the present day, demonstrating its enduring design.

The aircraft’s manufacturer, EADS CASA – European Aeronautic Defence AND SPACE, traces its history to Construcciones Aeronáuticas SA (CASA) in Spain. CASA developed the C-212 in the 1960s to meet the Spanish Air Force’s need to replace its aging transport fleet. CASA later became part of EADS, which then became Airbus Defence and Space. This lineage places the 212-EE firmly within the history of Spanish and broader European aerospace innovation.

Access solutions are indispensable for methodical maintenance across the aircraft. Reach Deck Platforms and Modular Stepover Platforms facilitate access for nose section maintenance, including the radome and avionics. For the landing gear, including the Nose Landing Gear and Main Landing Gear, a Super Service Stand provides necessary height. The fuselage, including the Wing Box Area and AFT Fuselage sections, benefits from Bridge Deck and Cantilever Platforms for maintenance on fuel tanks, cargo doors, and rear avionics. These platforms ensure detailed access to the tail section (empennage), vital for servicing the vertical and horizontal stabilizers, and the APU components.
