The Beechcraft 200C is a variant of the King Air series, a foundational model in general aviation manufacturing. Beechcraft, a manufacturer known for durable airframes since its founding, developed the Model 200 from the earlier Model 100 King Air. The 200 received civil certification in 1973, with deliveries beginning the following year.
The 200C model was created in 1979, specifically featuring a large cargo door. This design choice led to its frequent use in utility roles, including as an air ambulance. The broader King Air 200 design is extensively utilized by the military as the C-12 Huron utility transport. Beechcraft continues its legacy of innovation as part of Textron Aviation, producing advanced turboprop and piston designs.
Access solutions are available for maintenance on this aircraft, addressing needs across its major sections. For the Nose Section, Modular Stepover Platforms and Reach Deck Platform simplify access to the radome, antennas, and avionics. The Super Service Stand and Cantilever Platform facilitate detailed work on the Wing and Engine Pylon areas, reaching components like the engine inlet, exhaust, and flap systems, as well as fuel tanks and hydraulics.
For the AFT Fuselage and Tail Section (Empennage), access platforms are helpful for inspecting the AFT Bulkhead, APU compartments, and the vertical and horizontal stabilizers. Access platforms, along with the Platform Ladder Warthog and Branach Fibreglass Platform, also support servicing the Landing Gear (NLG and MLG) and various points along the Forward and Middle Fuselage, including cargo doors, the wing box, and fuel tanks. These access tools support thorough and efficient maintenance across all aircraft sections.
