1900D

The 1900D aircraft, manufactured by Beechcraft, is a turboprop regional airliner developed from the Beechcraft Super King Air. Beechcraft, now part of Textron Aviation, is an aircraft manufacturer with a long history in aviation, known for producing a range of light aircraft and business jets.

Manufacturing of the Beechcraft 1900 series spanned from 1982 to 2002. The aircraft was engineered to transport 19 passengers in all weather conditions, even from airports with short runways. The 1900D variant, introduced to allow passengers to walk upright within the cabin, proved highly successful, with 439 units built. It features more powerful Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-67D turboprops. Although production ceased in 2002 due to market trends favoring larger regional jets, many 1900D aircraft remain in service globally for regional passenger flights, cargo transport, and military operations.
