The Cessna 180/A1 is part of the legendary Cessna 180 Skywagon family, a single-engine, conventional gear light utility aircraft known for its rugged performance, particularly in utility and bush flying roles. Introduced as a complement to the Cessna 170, the 180 prototype first flew on May 26, 1952, entering production in 1953. Over 6,193 units were manufactured before production ended in 1981. This design later led to the development of the Cessna 182 Skylane and the more powerful Cessna 185 Skywagon.
