146 SERIES 300

The 146 SERIES 300 is a variant of the British Aerospace (BAe) 146 regional jet, often recognized for its distinctive high-wing and four-engine configuration. This model represents the longest version of the 146 lineage. Development of the 146 program began in the 1970s, with the prototype’s maiden flight occurring in 1981. The manufacturing program, originally British Aerospace, transitioned through corporate restructuring into what is known today as Systems, the successor entity that has continued to support the aircraft’s operational life, including an upgrade to the Avro Regional Jet.

Access and maintenance needs for the 146 SERIES 300 are served by a variety of height access products. These include the Reach Deck Platform, Modular Stepover Platforms, sturdy Super Trestle Scaffold, Ultraraise, Super Service Stand, Easyraise, Bridge Deck, and Cantilever Platform. Further access products include the Aviation Chock and Cone Trolley, Super Maintenance Platform, Branach Fibreglass Platform, A Frame Aviation Platform, and Platform Ladder Warthog.

These access solutions facilitate essential servicing requirements across the entire airframe. They support detailed work on the Nose Section (radome, avionics, cockpit), Forward Fuselage (doors, cargo, ECS), Landing Gear (NLG and MLG), Middle Fuselage/Wing Box Area (fuel tanks, cabin access), and are crucial for the Wing & Engine Pylon sections, enabling access to the engines, fans, and hydraulics. Comprehensive access is provided for the AFT Fuselage (bulkhead, cargo, APU compartments) and the Tail Section/Empennage (stabilizers and rudder), covering all general maintenance needs from front to back.
