146 SERIES 200

The 146 SERIES 200 is a regional jet manufactured by Systems. The aircraft was developed for short-haul operations and notable for its quiet operation due to its four turbofan engines mounted on the wing. It first flew in the early 1980s. The aircraft has seen service across various airlines globally. Systems, as the manufacturer, focused on providing a feederliner that excelled in short take-off and landing (STOL) performance, making it suitable for smaller, noise-sensitive airfields.

A range of platforms and access solutions are available for this aircraft, including the Reach Deck Platform, Modular Stepover Platforms, Super Trestle Scaffold, Ultraraise, Super Service Stand, Easyraise, Bridge Deck, Cantilever Platform, Aviation Chock and Cone Trolley, Super Maintenance Platform, Branach Fibreglass Platform, A Frame Aviation Platform, and Platform Ladder Warthog.

These solutions address maintenance access for several aircraft sections. The platforms provide access to the Nose Section components like the Radome, Antenna, and Windshield & Cockpit. They facilitate maintenance on the Forward Fuselage, assisting with access to the Main Entry Door (MED), Cargo/Baggage areas, and Cabin Access. For the Landing Gear, access solutions aid in servicing both the Nose Landing Gear (NLG) and Main Landing Gear (MLG). In the Middle Fuselage and Wing Box Area, maintenance solutions support work on the Wing Box, Fuel Tanks, and Oil Maintenance. For the Wing & Engine Pylon area, the platforms ensure access for critical tasks on the Pylon, Anti-Ice systems, Engine components, Hydraulics, and Fuel Tanks/Pumps. The AFT Fuselage maintenance areas, including the AFT Bulkhead and APU Compartments, are accessible. Finally, for the Tail Section (Empennage), the equipment facilitates maintenance around the Vertical Stabiliser, Horizontal Stabiliser, and Rudder. These tools are indispensable for methodical and safe maintenance across the aircraft.
