146-300

The 146-300 is a regional jet originally developed and manufactured by British Aerospace, later becoming part of the BAE Systems family. The aircraft is recognized for its high-wing design, short-field performance, and quiet operation, making it suitable for city-center airports. The 146 program began in the late 1970s, with the -300 variant being an extended version designed to increase passenger capacity and operational flexibility.

Access solutions are indispensable for maintaining the 146-300 across its structure. Platforms like modular stepover stands or cantilever platforms allow technicians to reach various complex areas. For the Nose Section, including the radome and windshield, elevated platforms provide the necessary working heights. Maintenance around the Wing and Engine Pylons—addressing components such as the fan, compressor, and hydraulics—requires equipment offering sturdy, stable access over engine contours. Similarly, the AFT Fuselage and Tail Section (empennage), which house the APU and control surfaces, require platforms that grant precise access for methodical inspections and repairs. These specialized access solutions ensure safe and efficient maintenance throughout the aircraft’s lifecycle.
