146-200

The 146-200 jetliner was produced by BAE Systems, originating from the British Aerospace (BAe) 146 family. The aircraft, often called the “Jumbolino,” was one of the last commercial planes produced in Great Britain before BAE Systems ended production in 2001. It is a four-engine regional aircraft known for its quiet operation and ability to serve short runways.

For maintenance and access around this aircraft, various first-class access solutions are available, including platforms and stands. These tools address maintenance and inspection needs across several critical sections. This includes accessing the Nose Section for the radome, antenna, and cockpit areas. Platforms are also useful for the Forward Fuselage, assisting with main entry doors, cargo access, and forward wheel wells. Access to the Landing Gear, both nose and main, is easily achieved.

Furthermore, these access solutions are indispensable for the Middle Fuselage/Wing Box Area, facilitating access to fuel tanks and cabin interiors. Work on the Wing and Engine Pylon, which involves engines, flaps, and hydraulics, benefits from these sturdy platforms. The AFT Fuselage, covering cargo areas and avionics, as well as the Tail Section (Empennage), crucial for the vertical and horizontal stabilizers, all require methodical access for thorough maintenance.
